BenBella Books has an active internship program designed to give interns a great experience and a feel for the world of publishing. We have two types of Interns – Publishing Interns, who get a broad exposure to the editorial side of publishing, and PR Interns, who work in every aspect of book marketing and public relations.

There are three categories of internship:

Part-time Internships:  These are part-time internships with a focus on either general publishing or marketing and public relations. These internships are generally intended for college students. We will also work with interns and their schools to obtain college credit. Part-time interns have privileged access to our summer intern program. (available)

Summer/Three-month Internships:  These are full-time internships with a focus on either general publishing or marketing and public relations. These internships are generally intended for college students over the summer or who desire to take off a semester to work. (available)

Internships are unpaid, but we will work with students to obtain school credit.
