More BenBella authors get national media!

There’s some national buzz surrounding two more of our BenBella authors, Tonya Craft and Kim Goldman!

Tonya, whose recent book Accused has already garnered significant positive feedback from media outlets and events in her hometown of Chattanooga, TN (her book signing at a Barnes & Noble there sold almost 500 copies of Accused), will be featured in the national spotlight this Thursday, October 1st, on the Meredith Vieira Show. Tonya will discuss Accused, her book about the high-profile trial in which she was acquitted of 22 counts of child molestation and its aftermath.

Kim Goldman has been busy promoting two books: Can’t Forgive and Media Circus. The sister of the late Ron Goldman, who was found murdered with O.J. Simpson’s ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson more than twenty years ago, discusses Can’t Forgive and her family’s struggle to grieve a personal tragedy in the public eye. That struggle has given Kim a unique insight into the plights of other victims of high-profile crimes, which she has used to write her newest book Media Circus.

In Media Circus, Goldman powerfully documents several similarly high-profile cases of families (including Scarlett Lewis, mother of six-year-old Newtown tragedy victim Jesse Lewis and Shirley Wygal, mother of Aurora theater shooting victim Rebecca Wingo) who are forced to grapple with their own personal traumas while simultaneously being forced into the spotlight. Kim wrote the book to “educate and empower,” and I think it’s safe to say that she has successfully done both.
